This two-hour workshop/class provides an experiential introduction to the scientifically-proven benefits of yoga as an effective tool to help manage depression.

Discover how breath and movement can be used to provide an immediate mood-boost, and learn simple yoga techniques that can be used daily to support and maintain greater mental, emotional and physical health.

No experience needed; and all are welcome (modifications to suit your level will be offered throughout). Dress comfortably. Bring pen, paper, yoga mat, chair, firm cushion, and towel or blanket.  (If available, bring a yoga strap and blocks.)

INSTRUCTOR:  Jurian Hughes is a senior faculty member at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA, where she has trained more than 1,000 yoga teachers. Known for her passionate, playful, and engaging teaching style, Jurian leads classes and programs online, in-person and around the world. She is the founder of Yoga of Voice, Yoga of Yes, as well as a voice coach, mentor, writer, and speaker.
